Can you spot the horns of the cow? In other cities real cows (worshipped as incarnations of the goddess Laxmi) are being paraded through town.

The parade is accompanied by loud music and rows of people rhythmically beating two wooden sticks together creating as much noise as possible. Especially the young ones-some with funny masks or scary facepaint- seem to enjoy it!

After many hours and several rounds through the city the parade is reaching its end - we are watching from a friend's house.
